Winkelmann Group Announces Strategic New Appointment of the Management

The Winkelmann Group is pleased to announce an important change in the Management of the Group. After many years of commitment as the Managing Partner and CEO, Mr. Heinrich Winkelmann will pass on his operational role. Mr. Heinrich Winkelmann will take over the position of the Chairman of the Advisory Board and will focus more on the strategic development of the Winkelmann Group in the future. This continued support will preserve and consolidate the character of our family business, which has been active for more than 125 years.

The appointment of Mr. Christian Knechtel, CFO of the Winkelmann Group since 2021, as the new CEO will take place on July 1st, 2024, and reflects the company's desire for continuity and professional leadership. This transition in management is part of a planned transformation of the Winkelmann Group towards a stronger focus on long-term strategic goals and sustainable development.

The shareholders, the Advisory Board and the staff of the Winkelmann Group would like to thank Mr. Heinrich Winkelmann for his valuable commitment and tireless dedication during his active time.
